Welcome to my page!
I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY.
I am the head of Computer Laboratory of Ambient and Wearable Systems (CLAWS)
My Research interests are in the area of intelligent system applications to biomedical and rehabilitation engineering:
- signal processing, computational intelligence and pattern recognition in bioengineering and rehabilitation engineering
- energy intake determination in humans
- automated sleep staging from non-invasive physiological data
- recognition and quantification of gait and activity patterns for biofeedback
- wearable, wireless and self-powered sensors and sensor networks
- wearable devices for energy intake monitoring
- wireless inertial tracking devices for activity monitoring
- energy harvesting techniques for wireless devices
- structural health monitoring
- signal processing and pattern recognition for damage detection
- energy harvesting techniques for civil engineering structures
- wireless self-powered sensor networks for structural health monitoring
